The dust wrapper, designed by Leslie Stead, is moderately creased to the top edge, rubbed at the edges and corners, and slightly faded at the spine. It has not been price clipped and shows the original 8s 6d net price. The boards are free from chips and marks, with some nice black detailing to the front panel. The text blocks are typically toned but with sparse foxing. There is a previous owners inscription on the front flyleaf in blue ink. Overall, this is a very good copy.
