The spine is not faded and remains bright. The gilt to the front panel and spine is pristine, perhaps the greatest example we have seen. The gilt text blocks are clean throughout. There is very slight foxing internally. The front and rear hinges are tight and not cracked or blemished. This copy is free from previous owners ink and is, overall, in very near fine condition. An exemplary copy.
