A first edition, first printing of The Twin Engines by The Rev. W. Awdry, published by Edmund Ward, London in 1960, with illustrations by Peter and Gunvor Edwards. A very good copy with bumping to the foot of the spine, small bump to fore-edge of front board, some light shelf wear to front and rear boards. In a very good unclipped wrapper, bumping to the spine tips, chipping to the knuckles of rear flap fold, small chips to upper edge of front panel and triangular crease to lower level, closed tears to upper and lower edge of rear panel, toning to the rear panel.
