The boards are free from notable chips and marks, with slight bumping again at the corners and spine tips. Each have a previous owner’s signature in the same hand present. In ‘The Ashes Retained’, it is signed ‘Best wishes, [xxxx], Lords ‘79’ and in ‘The Return of the Ashes’, ‘C’mas 1978’ in blue ink. Both sets of text blocks are bright and white, without foxing. Overall, this is a near fine pair.
