Description
First edition, third printing. Published by Hodder & Stoughton, London, in 1951. Signed by the author. This is a very good copy. The dust wrapper, with plain pictorial illustrations of the author, is mildly worn throughout. The top and tail edges are lightly toned and with mild rubbing. It has not been price clipped and shows the original 12/6 net price. The boards, in green cloth and with the author’s signature embossed, are free from notable chips and marks aside from slight bumping at the the top and tail of the spine. The authors signature is present on the full title page in blue ink and is without inscription. The text blocks are generally clean, but the top edge is lightly foxed. The internals are clean. Overall, this is a very good copy of a scarce signed title.
The autobiography of cricket legend Godfrey Evans and rare signed.
