First UK edition, first printing of Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss, published by Collins in London, 1962. This is a very good copy, the paper-covered boards bumped at the corners, with pushing at the head and foot of the spine and handling wear to the upper and lower edges, the internals are clean without inscriptions – the text blocks are bright and clean.
Sam-I-Am offers an unnamed man a plate of green eggs and ham. However, the man refuses multiple times throughout the story by saying, “I do not like green eggs and ham. I do not like them, Sam-I-Am.”
