A first edition, first printing of ‘A Tolkien Bestiary; by David Day, published by Mitchell Beazley Publishers, London in 1979. A very good book free from internal inscriptions, boards bound in publisher’s original beige cloth with green titling to the spine and blind-stamped title to front board, the text block browning with minor spotting. In a very good unclipped wrapper, dulling to the spine, chipping to spine tips and front and rear knuckle folds – browning to the spine. Jacket design by Ian Miller.
