A first edition, first printing, published by Gollancz in 1965. A very good book with internals free from inscriptions, some browning to the the text block, with very slight bumping to the head of the spine and some fading to the spine and top edge of the front and rear panels. In a very good unclipped dust wrapper with some internal repairs to knuckles of front and rear upper and lower panel folds and to the head and base of the spine.

The Flight of the Falcon is a captivating tale of intrigue and suspense set against the backdrop of a fictional Mediterranean city, Ruffano. The novel follows the enigmatic Armino Fabbio as he unravels the mysteries surrounding the powerful Maltese family, the Godolphin. As Armino delves deeper into their dark secrets, he discovers betrayal, deception and a sinister plot that threatens to consume him. Du Maurier masterfully weaves together elements of mystery, romance, and psychological suspense in this gripping narrative.
