First edition, first printing. Published by MacGibbon & Kee in London, 1960. This is a very good copy. The dust wrapper, beautifully illustrated by Sidney Nolan, is mildly worn at the bottom of the spine and with rubbing at the top and bottom edges. It has been neatly price clipped and suffers from slight soiling. The boards are free from chips and marks and the corners are sharp. The internals are generally clean, but with inconsistent toning from the paste down to the full title page. The text blocks are generally bright and white, but with very slight spotting in places. This copy is free from previous owners ink and is, overall, a very good copy.
