First edition, first printing. Published by The Foley House Press in London, 1949. This is a very good copy. The dust wrapper has a major tear and separation to the top of the spine, which extends to both panels. The spine tips are worn and there are creases at the hinges. It has not been price clipped and shows the original 6s net price. The boards are free from notable marks, though have a lean and some ghosting. The text blocks are mostly clean, though admittedly toned to a darker shade. Crime writer Robert Barnard’s signature is present on the front fly leaf in blue ink. Overall, this is a very good copy of a fine association copy.
Narrates the story of young Bill Reddeven.
