The beautiful gilt illustrations are present and not blemished, though toned at the spine. The spine tips are bumped. The gilt text blocks are bright throughout, although some corners are chipped. The internals are slightly foxed to the prelims and there is some internal spotting. There is a previous owners inscription to the first page. Overall, this is a very good copy of an iconic title.
