Andrew Lang – The Brown Fairy Book – First UK Edition 1904

First edition, first printing. Published in London by Longmans, Green and Co.. This is a near fine copy. The brown boards, featuring the beautiful and profuse gilt illustrations, are slightly loose at the hinge (though intact). There is some mild bumping to the spine tips and at the corners. The silver gilt endpapers are bright and clean. The internals are also clean, as are the gilt text blocks. Overall, this copy is free from previous owners ink and is in near fine condition.
