A first edition, first printing published by Collins Crime Club in 1972. A near fine book without inscriptions. Some slight bumping to the base of the spine. Slight spotting to the text block, however, clean internally. In a like clipped wrapper.
Featuring the Belgian detective Hercule Poirot, and the recurring character Ariadne Oliver, the story revolves around memory and oral testimony. The novel was met with mixed reviews when published and a study done in 2009 indicated that Christie may have been suffering from some form of dementia when writing the book due to the number of repeated phrases and indefinite nouns it contained.
