Byatt in black ink on the title page. The boards, in the publishers black cloth, are without notable wear with some minor pushing to the corners of the front board and pushing to the head of the spine with small tear and some wear to the foot of the spine, the text block clean throughout. The near fine price clipped wrapper with some pushing to the head and foot of the spine.
