The dust wrapper, illustrated in deep blue and gilt detailing, has not been price clipped and has only slight wear to the top edge. The boards are free from notable chips and marks and the text blocks are bright and white throughout. There is a single spot of browning present on the half-title page, which bleeds through to the first textual page. The authors signature is present on the full-title page in black ink and without inscription. Overall, this is a fine copy of a nice signed title.
It follows the adventures of several inter-related families, adults and children, from 1895 through World War I.
