First edition, first printing of ‘The House at Pooh Corner’, published by Methuen in London, 1928. This is a near fine (or better) copy. The dust wrapper, with decorations by E.H. Shepard, is bright and unclipped with neat restorative repairs to the spine tips. The book has some toning to the front illustrated flyleaf. The boards are mildly sunned and rubbed along the spine edges and very slightly faded throughout. This copy is free from previous owners ink and is, overall, in near fine (or better) condition.
The second volume of stories about Winnie-the-Pooh and is notable for the introduction of the character Tigger.
