First edition, first printing of A Fifth Lakeland Sketchbook by Alfred Wainwright, published by the Westmorland Press, Kendal, in… This is a near fine copy, free from internal inscriptions, boards bound in navy mock leather with gilt titling to front board and spine, with minor pushing to head and foot of spine, and slight browning to the text block. The very good pictorial wrapper has some slight toning, fading to the spine, an open tear at the foot of the spine, chipping and pushing to the upper edge, with two closed tears to the front panel.
