First edition, first printing of ‘Endless Night’. Published by Collins in London, 1967. A very good copy. The dust wrapper has not been price clipped, displaying the original 18s. Some wear to the spine tips and corners – some rubbing to the sides of the spine – faded a little to the spine. Closed tear to the front panel – some light chipping to the spine tips. The boards are free from notable chips and marks and the text blocks are bright and white, some spotting to the top edge. No inscriptions within and exceptionally clean within the book. Overall, this is a very good copy.
Endless Night was one of Christie’s favourites of her own works which received some of the warmest critical acclaim of her career upon publication.
