William Bell [Philip Larkin] – Poetry From Oxford In Wartime – First Edition 1945
£150.00
First edition, first printing of ‘Poetry From Oxford In Wartime’. Published by The Fortune Press in London, 1945. This is a very good copy. The plain dust wrapper, with deep blue titling has some handling marks and blemishes throughout, with slight rubbing to the edges and some light marking to the panels. There are slight tears to the top and tail edge of the spine. It has been price clipped. The boards are with some slight marks, though are free from notable ones. The text blocks are slightly toned, as are the internals. A neat inscription to the front endpaper.
A collection of poetry from Oxford in wartime, featuring the first appearance of ten poems by Philip Larkin.
