It has not been price clipped, showing the original 8s 6d net price. The boards, in the original publisher’s cloth are free from chips and marks. The text blocks are bright, but marked in places. It is free from previous owners ink. Overall, this is a very good copy.
Biggles is visited by an old friend, Squadron Leader ‘Dizzy’ Digswell, who has an interesting tale to tell. After being forced to parachute out of his plane flying over the Aden Protectorate in Arabia, he thinks he has come across the ancient ruins of the city of Ophir.
