The author’s rare second novel. A first edition, first printing of ‘The Suffrage of Elvira’, published by Andre Deutsch in 1958. A near fine book with Deutsch’s File Copy stamp to the front endpaper in lovely condition and without foxing – a little toned. In a very good wrapper which is not price clipped and has a little off-setting to the bottom of the rear panel. Some wear to the extremities. With the rare Somerset Maugham Award band (small chip to the spine panel). Rare with the band.
