Stephen King – The Dark Tower Series – First US Editions In Wrappers
£6,000.00
A complete and highly desirable run of Stephen King’s landmark Dark Tower sequence, comprising: ‘The Gunslinger’ (1982), ‘The Drawing of the Three’ (1987), ‘The Waste Lands’ (1991), ‘Wizard and Glass’ (1997), ‘Wolves of the Calla’ (2003), ‘Song of Susannah’ (2004), and ‘The Dark Tower’ (2004), together with the later intercalary volume ‘The Wind Through the Keyhole'(2012), and the related short story “The Little Sisters of Eluria” as issued in ‘Legends’ (1998).
All volumes are first editions, first printings, a notably scarce assembly when found complete in such uniform and well-preserved condition. Each retains its original unclipped dust jacket, with prices intact, the wrappers and books remaining in near fine or better condition throughout, exhibiting strong colour, sharp edges, and only minimal signs of handling.
King’s genre-defining fusion of fantasy, western, and speculative fiction unfolds across these volumes in an expansive narrative centered on Roland Deschain and his quest for the Dark Tower. Complete first printing sets, particularly those retaining unclipped jackets, are increasingly uncommon on the market.
An exceptional collector’s set.
