A first edition, first printing of ‘It’ by Stephen King published by Hodder and Stoughton in 1986. A very good book with some browning to the top edge. In like unclipped wrapper with some fading and a small mark to the spine which is a little faded. Becoming scarce.
A horror novel that tells the story of a group of children, known as the Losers’ Club, who are terrorised by an ancient, shape-shifting entity that often takes the form of Pennywise the Dancing Clown. Set in the fictional town of Derry, Maine, the novel alternates between the Losers’ childhood in the 1950s and their adult lives in the 1980s. The group reunites as adults to confront the evil force once more. King’s novel explores themes of friendship, trauma, and the power of memory, blending supernatural horror with psychological depth.
