First edition, first printing of ‘Different Seasons’ by Stephen King. Published by Viking, USA in 1982. This is a very good copy. The dust wrapper has a little wear to the corners and a small nick to the bottom edge. There is a little creasing to the top edge. It has not been price clipped. The boards are free from notable wear and the text blocks are bright and clear of foxing, but have a little fading and staining to the foot of the spine. This copy is in very good condition.
Containing four stories, the first, ‘Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption’ was the basis for the award winning blockbuster film of 1994, whilst ‘The Body’ was the inspiration for the cult film ‘Stand by Me’ featuring River Phoenix, that kid from the Goonies and some other people…
