In a very good+ wrapper which is unclipped a small chip to the head of the spine and some light loss to the corners. ‘Memoirs of an Infantry Officer’ – A near fine book without inscriptions in a very good unclipped wrapper with a minor chip to the head of the spine and a little to corners – a very bright example. ‘Sherston’s Progress’ – a very good+ book without inscriptions with some spotting to the page edges. In a very good wrapper which is unclipped and has minute sliver of loss to the top of the spine – some off-setting to the spine where the rare Evening Standard/Book Society and Book Guild wrap-around band stands. A lovely set of Sassoon’s famous ‘fictional autobiography’ and the only set of the trade editions available for sale at the time of writing.
