A set of the first edition, first printings of Roald Dahl’s seventeen novels for children. Published between 1943 to 1991 by numerous publishers including George Allen and Unwin and Cape and comprising:
– Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator: A very good book without inscriptions with some wear to the bottom of the spine – spine is faded. Some rubbing to the corners – publisher’s price sticker to the rear board. A little spotting to the page edges.
– Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: A very good book without inscriptions with a little loss to the laminate to the head of the spine and some wear to the corners.
– James and the Giant Peach: A very good book with one small name to the front pastedown with a little loss to the laminate to the head of the spine and some wear to the corners – some browning to the spine and to the sides of the spine.
– The BFG: A very good book without inscriptions in like unclipped wrapper with a little browning to the spine. Complete with stage play insert
– The Witches: A very good book with some spotting to the page edges and prelims without inscriptions in like unclipped wrapper with a little browning to the spine and some light spotting to the flaps. Light fading to the spine.
– Matilda: A near fine book without inscriptions in a very good unclipped unpriced wrapper with a closed tear to the head of the front panel. Some rubbing to the corners.
– Danny The Champion of the World: A near fine book without inscriptions in a very good clipped wrapper with fading to the spine and some wear and a little chipping to the spine tips.
– Fantastic Mr Fox: A very good book (issued without a dust wrapper) with a little fading to the spine. Two small stains to the rear panel. A little spotting internally – else a very clean copy of a scarce book
– The Magic Finger: A very good book (issued without a dust wrapper) with browning to the spine and spotting to the boards and prelims
