A first edition, first printing of ‘Matilda’ by Roald Dahl published by Cape in 1988. A very good book without inscriptions with some light handling marks to the boards and wear to the corners. Small blank bookplate to the front pastedown. In an unclipped wrapper with some wear to the top of the spine and to the corners – thin closed tear to the front fold. A very nice example of a first edition of ‘Matilda’.
