First edition, first printing. Published by Hamish Hamilton in London, 1964. This is a very good copy. First issue, not showing ‘second issue’ on the dust wrapper. The wrapper has some very slight wear at the top and tail of the spine, with the white lettering slightly toned. It has been neatly price clipped. The red clothbound boards are free from chips and marks. The internals are free from previous owners ink although the page edges show foxing. Overall, this is a very good copy. Accompanied by an uncorrected proof copy in very good condition.
