A first edition, first printing of ‘Ariel’ published by Faber in 1965. A very good book without inscriptions – some spotting to the front endpaper and spotting to the page edges. In a very good unclipped wrapper with some internal tape repairs especially to the front and rear folds and some light edge wear and chipping. Complete with rare Poetry Book Society band and the 1965 Poetry Book Society Bulletin. A very good copy.
