A first edition, first printing published by Rapp and Whiting in 1968. A very good book with spotting to the endpapers and to the page edges. Small amount of residue to the spine. With the scarce Lawrence Edwards-designed dust wrapper without any of the heavy fading to the spine. Edges lightly rubbed and a little nicked in places. Filmed notably in 1982, with Ridley Scott as director and Harrison Ford as the lead character, Rick Deckard. Both the novel and the film explore themes such as what it means to be human, the nature of consciousness, and the ethics of creating and controlling intelligent beings. However, the plot and characters differ significantly between the two, with the film focusing more on action and visual spectacle, and the novel delving deeper into the psychological and emotional aspects of the story.
