First edition, first printing. Published by Collins in London, 1958. This is a near fine copy. The dust wrapper is markedly clean with some very slight creasing present. There is rubbing to the top edge and slight separation to the top and tail of the spine. There are very slight handling marks to the rear panel and a slight chip to the bottom edge. There is also an area of separation to the edge of the rear board. It has not been price clipped, showing the original 8s. 6d. net price. The boards are generally bright and clean but the spine is slightly sunned. They are free from notable chips and marks. The front fly leaf is toned and it is free from previous owners ink. Overall, this is a near fine copy of a fine title.
