SIGNED by the author, without dedication, to the tile page with the year of publication. Two small nicks to the bottom edges and some slight bumping to the head and base of the spine. Slight spotting to the text block, however, clean internally and tightly bound. In a like, unclipped wrapper with slight rubbing to the extremities.
Set on the Greek island of Cephalonia in the second world war, the novel won the Commonwealth Writers Prize for Best Book in 1995. A successful film adaptation followed in 2001 starring Nicolas Cage as Captain Corelli.
