This edition is printed on white, rather than toned, paper; the price of ‘Four Shillings’ above the imprint is changed to ‘One Shilling and the illustration on page 34 of Alice and the Cheshire Cat shows Alice with her back towards the reader and not in profile. Coloured frontispiece and 19 colour illustrations after John Tenniel, 3pp. publisher’s advertisements to rear. A very presentable copy indeed.
