Len Deighton – The Ipcress File
Original price was: £150.00.£125.00Current price is: £125.00.
First edition, second impression. Published by Hodder & Stoughton in London, 1962. This is a very good copy. The dust wrapper has some slight marks throughout and some bumping. There is marginal separation at the corners and spine tips. It has been price clipped and a 90 degree angle. The boards have a slight lean but are presentable in their bright orange buckram. The text blocks are toned throughout, though mostly free from foxing. There is one small previous owner’s inscription to the front fly. Stated ‘Second impression 1962 ’ (issued the same month as the first) on the copyright page. Overall, this is a very good copy of an increasingly scarce title.
Deighton’s spy first novel in what would become a long and prolific career.
