A first edition, first printing of Tabby McTat by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler, published by Alison Green in 2009. A near fine book signed by the author and illustrator on the title page in black ink, with slight wear to spine tips and corners, small internal damages to head and foot of the join to the front paste down and free end paper, title page with some handling wear. In near fine unclipped wrapper with a small internally restored tear to the head of the spine and bumping to the upper edge.
Tabby McTat by Julia Donaldson is a charming children’s book about a busker’s cat who loves to sing. When Tabby gets separated from his owner, Fred, he starts a new life with a kind family. However, he can’t forget his old friend. Eventually, they reunite, blending their old and new lives. Axel Scheffler’s delightful illustrations enhance this heart-warming tale of friendship, loyalty and the joy of making music together.
