First edition, first printing of Stick Man by Julia Donaldson, with illustrations by Axel Scheffler, published by Alison Green Books, London, in 2008. This is a fine copy, the paper covered pictorial boards fine throughout, very slight bumping to the head of the spine, internals clean and free from previous owners ink, text blocks bright and clean, the binding tight. The wrapper with bumping to the upper edge, bumping to the head of the spine, crease to the lower edge of the rear panel and open tear to the lower knuckle of the rear flap fold.
A children’s story about an anthropomorphic wooden stick who becomes separated from his family home and his Odyssey-like adventure to return there.
