This is the Winter edition from 1966/67 where a then 36 year old le Carre, fresh from publishing his first four spy novels, contributed an essay called ‘What Every Writer Wants’. The copy is in near fine condition. There is minor wear to the edges and spine ends. The text block is spotted but the pages free from foxing and other wear. SIGNED by le Carre on the title page of the story.
