First edition, first printing. Published by Hodder & Stoughton in London, 1926. This is a very good ex-library copy. The deep blue boards have wear at each corner, which are also slightly bumped. The hinges, though tight, also have some external rubbing. The top and tail of the spine is bumped and with some rubbing present- there is also a small nick to the spine. The internals are mostly clean, though have some toning to the preliminaries. There is a library label pasted to the rear pastedown, presumably WHSmith, stamped with pink and purple ink. Aside from this, it is free from inscriptions. This is a very good copy.
An interesting and entertaining account of a life led in the literary circles of the Victorian and Edwardian eras.
