£975.00

First edition, first printing. Published by Jonathan Cape, London, in 1965. This is a near fine copy. The dust wrapper, designed by Richard Chopping, has not been price clipped, retaining the 18s net price and has some slight rubbing at the top, bottom and side edges but remains bright and clean – some creasing and browning – small repaired closed to the rear. The boards are tight at the spine. They are free from notable chips and marks and the gilt titling is bright. The internals are clean and free from previous owners inscriptions. The text blocks are clean. SIGNED on the half-title page by Maud Adams (Andrea Anders/Octopussy), Britt Ekland (Mary Goodnight), the director, Guy Hamilton and Joie Vejjajiva, who played one of the martial arts ladies, ‘Cha’.
The final novel in Ian Fleming’s James Bond series, and the thirteenth Bond book overall.
