First edition, first printing of ‘From Russia With Love’. Published by Jonathan Cape, London, in 1957. This is a very good copy. The dust wrapper is finely illustrated by Richard Chopping. Neatly clipped. Some fine restorative repair to the spine and corners. Rubbing to the edges with a very clean rear panel indeed. The boards are in very good condition, with no notable chips and marks to note. The red embossed title on the spine is not faded, and the gun and rose motif is bright and glistening. There are no inscriptions. The text blocks are generally clean, but have some rare instances of marking present. Overall, this is one the original 15,000 printed in 1957 and is in very good condition.
