A first edition, first printing of Harry’s Game, by Gerald Seymour, published by Collins in 1975. A very good copy in black bound cloth boards, with silver title to the spine, a former owner’s name in blue ink to the front free end  paper, slight pushing to the head and foot of the spine and bumping to the upper front panel corner, mild browning to the text block. A near fine, unclipped wrapper with pushing to the spine tips and open tear to the head of the spine, some pushing to the knuckles of the front and rear flap folds, an open tear to the top edge of the front panel.

Harry’s Game by Gerald Seymour is a gripping thriller set in Northern Ireland during the Troubles. It follows British intelligence officer Harry Brown, who is sent undercover to Belfast to track down and assassinate an IRA gunman responsible for killing a British cabinet minister. The novel delves into the complexities of the conflict, blending suspense with a deep exploration of political and personal motivations, making it a powerful and thought-provoking read.
