Together with two TLS from Fraser, one from Glasgow, 13 May 1969, thanking Wheatley for his ‘magnificent review’ of Flashman’ in the ‘Glasgow Herald’; the second from the Isle of Man, 27 December 1969, thanking him for his notice in the Daily Mail Christmas books selection.

A highly desirable set. Fraser Macdonald was never an abundant signer, and signed copies of several of the middle and later titles are now distinctly uncommon; a complete signed run of the first editions, with contemporary signed correspondence relating to the first novel, is rarely encountered.
