Description
First edition, first printing. Published by Headline in London, 2006. This is a very near fine copy. The dust wrapper is bright, clean and with only very slight wear to the top and bottom edges. There are some slight dents to the front panel. It has not been price clipped and shows the original £20 price. The endpapers are speckled with ‘hallowed turf’ from the end of an era Wembley (1923-2000). The boards are free from chips and marks and the text blocks are bright and white. Overall, this is a very near fine copy.
The story of the 1966 World Cup Finals by the man whose hat trick won the Cup for England.
