First editions, first printings (’The Day of the Jackal’ Reprinted before Publication). Published by Hutchinson from years 1971-1991, the remaining titles published by The Bantam Press. This is a near fine set. Only two of the ten titles are price clipped (’ICON’ and ‘The Fourth Protocol’) and the rest show their corresponding original prices. The wear is inconsistent, as expected, but they each have light shelf wear and some very slight scratching present. The rear panel of ‘No Comebacks’ has a deep scratch present. The text blocks are mostly free from foxing, though with some sparse spots present. There is one inscription inside Icon (50 in blue ink on the front fly leaf), (a previous owner’s name in black ink on the front fly of ‘The Odessa File’), (the signature of ‘Annabelle Lee’ in ‘The Shepherd’). Overall, this is a near fine set of some fine historical thrillers.
