£65.00

First edition, second printing. Published by Hutchinson in London, 1971. This is a very good (or better) copy. The dust wrapper, strikingly designed by Tom Simmonds and Trevor Vertigan has some very slight chipping to the top and bottom edges, and at the spine tips. There is some rubbing to the edges. It has not been price clipped and shows the original £2.00 net and 40s net prices, also stating on the front flap ‘Reprinted Before Publication’. The original publishers red clothbound boards are free from notable chips and marks and are tight at the spine. The text blocks are mostly clean, but with some foxing to the top edge and some slight toning to throughout. This copy is free from previous owners ink and is, overall, a very good (or better) copy. Scarce.
