First edition, first printing of the ABC of Economics by Ezra Pound, published by Faber and Faber in London, 1933. This is a very good copy, the original blue boards with minor handling wear to front and rear panels, fading to the spine, slight bumping to the head and foot of the spine, the text blocks are slightly foxed throughout with browning to the top edge, minor spotting to preliminary pages and rear paste down and free end paper. The very good unclipped wrapper with fading to the spine, open tears to the head of the spine, chips to the foot of the spine and knuckles of front and rear flap folds, an open tear to the upper edge of front panel. With an associated and contemporary Faber & Faber promotional postcard.

ABC of Economics by Ezra Pound is a concise guide on economic principles and their impact on society. Pound critiques modern capitalism and advocates for economic reforms to promote social well-being. He emphasises the importance of understanding money’s role, the value of labour and the consequences of financial systems. The work blends economic theory with Pound’s unique perspectives, aiming to make complex ideas accessible and urging readers to rethink conventional economic practices.
