First edition, first printing of The Circus of Adventure by Enid Blyton, published by Macmillan in London, 1952, illustrated by Stuart Tresilian. This is a near fine copy free from internal inscriptions, slightly shelf-cocked in publishers original cream cloth bound boards with debossed titling and illustration to the front board in black and blue, similarly to the spine, light spotting to the front and rear panel, bumping to the head of the spine and lower edge of rear panel, the top edge of the text block with some toning, with former retailers sticker, ‘Tindall & Son, Printers & Stationers, High Street, Newmarket’, to front paste down. The very good unclipped dust wrapper with toning and fading to the spine, chipping to the spine tips and knuckles of front and rear flap folds, light toning to the flap folds, internal damp stain to the foot of the spine.
