First edition, first printing. Published by Brock Books in London, 1960. This is a very good copy. The dust wrapper has some handling marks throughout and some wear at the spine tips. It has not been price clipped and shows the 7s. 6d. net price. The boards are fine and without wear. There is slight toning to the front flyleaf. The text blocks are bright but with some minor foxing. Some browning to the spine. The 12th Secret Seven Adventure. The “Belongs To” box has been filled in.

A near fine book, inscribed and dated by a previous owner in blue ink to the half title page and with completed ‘This book belongs to’ panel, boards bound in original publisher’s light blue cloth with blue titling to the spine and illustrated with seven Secret Seven ‘S’ symbols, slight pushing to head and foot of the spine, Secret Seven pictorial end papers with mild spotting, the text block with some browning and spotting. In a near fine unclipped wrapper with chipping to spine tips and knuckles of front and rear flap folds, pushing to the upper and lower edge of front and rear panels, a small closed tear to upper edge of rear panel, spotting to the front and rear flap folds with internal spotting and browning.Â
