A first edition, first printing published Arnold in 1910. One of 2,500 copies of the first edition were printed – 4 pages of adverts to the rear and 8 page catalogue tipped in.
Externally a near fine copy – in the original rich maroon boards, a trifle rubbed and worn to the spine tips. No inscriptions within. Corners a little bumped, free endpapers a little browned and off-set with some sporadic spotting to the prelims. Spine a little faded with five small spots. A lovely square copy.
