Both volumes feature 6 colour plates and numerous black & white plates. Folding maps in rear pocket of volume 2. Errata slips. Original cloth. Pictorial gilt design to front boards; lettered gilt to front boards and spine. Top edge gilt. Spines are slightly faded. Volume I has a light stain to the fore-edge. One neat ownership inscription to the half-title. Map in volume II present and all plates collated. Some spotting to the prelims and endpapers.
